In this craft tutorial we are going to show how to make a cute and adorable Cat Soft toy with socks and stuffing’s. Soft Toy making is a popular form of handcraft usually done at home. Everybody loves soft toys made with cloth and stuffed with soft cushion inside. Especially kids love to play and cuddle with soft toys like Bear, Dogs and Cats. They not only enhance the look of your drawing room or bedroom but can also be kept inside the car. You can follow the super simple steps given in this craft tutorial and learn how to make the cat toy in no time.
It starts with very basic materials like a pair of socks, needle and thread, scissors, sketch pen for markings, toy eyes for the cat, black paper to form mustache, beads to make a necklace.
You start with marking the Cat body shape on the socks. Once you mark it seal it with niddle and threads and flip the socks inside out. This will form the body shape of the cat. Now give it a small cut to stuff the soft material (stuffing’s inside).
Similarly take another socks and mark the shape of the head as shown in the video and seal it with niddle and thread. Stuff it with the soft material so that it will form the shape of the head. Now fix this head over the body and start decorating it. We will create a necklace for the cat with the help of beads as shown in the video. Tie the necklace around the neck of the cat. In the similar fashion make a small tail for the cat with stuffing’s inside.
Now its time to give a eyes and mustaches to the cat. So fix two toy eyes on the face of the cat. Then cut the small stripes out of the cardboard paper to make the mustaches. Once the eyes, mustaches and necklace are at their places your cat will be done.
